LEED Certification of Sustainable Buildings

A benchmark of sustainable buildings

LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and is the American sustainability certification for buildings, and is administered by the U.S. Green Building Council.
With the LEED, U.S. Green Building Council established a benchmark - a commonly agreed overall system for reducing environmental impact.
LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability achievement and leadership, and more than 135 countries in the world have LEED-certified buildings.
A building earns one of four LEED rating levels: Certified, Silver, Gold or Platinum.
