Volkswagen is fit for the future with new AHU technology

The Volkswagen Group, Europe’s largest automobile manufacturer, has completed a thorough investigation of the available ventilation systems on the market in search for the most efficient and innovative solution. After a comprehensive series of tests, measurements and practical trials, the choice fell on the environmentally friendly EC+ concept with NOVENCO’s high-efficient ZerAx® axial flow fans. The new system is already in operation at one of the largest production buildings – the assembly hall – at the VW Navarra production site in Pamplona, Spain.
The Volkswagen Navarra production site assumes a daily responsibility for the environment, worker’s safety and the local community. The innovative and impressive planning at the site reflect this with special attention given to resource management and emissions. The goal of which is to continuously reduce energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. For these purposes, the latest technology with the ZerAx® axial fans presented a perfect solution for the renewal of the ventilation in the assembly hall.
