Life safety ventilation systems for the longest land tunnel in the Netherlands

We have written about this spectacular project before, but now we can present you with the case story of the Gaasperdammertunnel in Amsterdam, which is by far the longest and widest land tunnel in the Netherlands.
As a part of the reconstruction and expansion of the ring road of Amsterdam, this tunnel is situated along the A9 motorway, one of the busiest Dutch motorways between Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam and Almere.
NOVENCO Building & Industry was awarded the contract to design and deliver a longitudinal tunnel ventilation system and pressurization systems for the escape tunnel including design, risk analysis, equipment delivery, installation, testing, commissioning and hand-over for this tunnel.
