Tailor-made sustainable buildings
The DGNB Certification System is flexible and can be adapted to different building types and national requirements. It evaluates all key sustainability aspects: environmental, economic, sociocultural, functional, technological, process-related, and site-specific. Projects that meet the performance requirements are awarded DGNB silver, gold or platinum certification.
The DGNB scheme provides a shared foundation for sustainable construction. Its criteria are based on a fixed point system, allowing project teams to calculate how material choices and design decisions influence the final certification. All assessments consider the entire life cycle of the building.
Danish engineering, design, and consultancy company Ramboll has prepared detailed reports and documentation packages to support DGNB auditors in Denmark and Germany. These documents clarify how NOVENCO’s high-efficiency, energy-saving products contribute to specific DGNB criteria.
DGNB Denmark
According to the DGNB Denmark documentation package from Green Building Council Denmark, NOVENCO’s products can positively influence criteria amounting to up to 39.1% of the total certification. The percentage reflects the criteria areas where NOVENCO solutions can contribute to point allocation in a given project.
DGNB Germany
The DGNB Germany documentation package, prepared for the German Sustainable Building Council (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen), shows that NOVENCO’s products can positively influence criteria accounting for up to 40.5% of the total certification. As with DGNB Denmark, the percentage indicates the criteria where NOVENCO solutions can support a project’s point scoring.
